Client administrator: getting started Current screen guide. Narration updated October 7, 2026. Administrator and front desk: demonstration menus and sample records. Customer: signed-out views; no private guest data. 00:00 Start with the right workspace Welcome to Rezsystems administrator training. This guide uses sample property screens. Sign in with your client administrator account and open Rezsystems three point zero. Confirm the correct property before making changes. The interactive preview is for practice. It does not configure your live property. 00:22 Follow the setup order Set up the property in this order: rentals and the site map first, pricing second, then staff access and operating policies. Open Property tools to reach the setup modules. Your visible tools depend on your roles and enabled modules. In the preview, Explore buttons demonstrate navigation. Use the corresponding live tools to enter and save your property records. 00:48 Add the rentals you actually sell In Property tools, open Add Rental. Create each site, unit or other rental using the correct rental type. Use the rental lists to review your entries. Confirm names, identifiers, capacity and relevant amenities before accepting bookings. Add only the types you operate, such as RV sites, cabins, tents, suites or marina slips. 01:13 Build and check the site map Open Manage SiteMap and arrange the property map using your rental identifiers. Then open View SiteMap and compare the display with the property layout. Check that staff can identify the right rental. Do this before the first live reservation so similar site names do not cause assignment mistakes. 01:34 Set prices before taking bookings Use New Pricing and the pricing lists to configure your base rates, applicable extras, pet charges and deposit rules. Review the Global Tax and State Tax tools as applicable to your property. Enter the rates approved for your business. Check a sample booking and invoice calculation before quoting a guest. A complete price review includes the stay, extras, taxes and deposit. 02:00 Give staff their assigned tools Open Manage Staff and create the staff records for your property. Assign the duties each person needs. A person who performs several jobs may need multiple roles. The available menu grows with the roles assigned. Test the front desk account and other staff accounts separately. Keep administrator credentials with the administrator. 02:23 Configure optional staff services If you use payroll tracking, review Payroll Setup, Benefits Setup and the staff pay settings before entering work hours. Verify whether each employee is hourly or salaried and confirm the property policies that apply. Only use optional modules that have been enabled for this property. These lessons introduce navigation, rather than every optional module. 02:48 Choose the arrival policy Open Settings. Choose the property time zone, arrival opening time and departure time, then save your settings. Decide whether the property allows self check in or requires front desk assistance. Self check in requires an eligible reservation, a ready rental, a completed balance and no guest still checked into that rental. It does not process payments. 03:13 Review dynamic pricing carefully The Dynamic pricing panel can adjust new booking rates using occupancy for the selected rental type over the requested nights. Review the low and high occupancy thresholds, adjustments and minimum and maximum limits. Save the pricing settings when ready. Existing bookings retain their saved amounts. Test a new quote and compare the result with the expected base rate and adjustment. 03:40 Complete a launch rehearsal Before launch, complete a test guest journey in your designated test property. Create the guest, make a reservation and review the invoice. Rehearse arrival, rental readiness and departure. Verify that the resulting records and reports agree. The new customer app currently sends stay requests for property confirmation. Make sure front desk staff understand that a request is not a confirmed booking.
